Youth hunting license - Apply for an annual hunting license for the first time
Source: Serviceportal Rheinland-PfalzIf you want to hunt in Germany, but you are not yet 18 years old, you can only be issued a youth hunting license in your name (minimum age 16 years). For the first issuance of a youth hunting license, you need proof of a hunter's examination passed in Germany.
With a youth hunting license, you may only hunt if accompanied by a custody holder with hunting experience or a supervised person with hunting experience commissioned in writing by your person(s) with custody.
