Surrender your driver's license voluntarily

If, for health reasons or due to signs of age, you are no longer able to drive your motor vehicle safely in traffic, you have the option of voluntarily surrendering your driving licence. This option is also available to you if you have been caught driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. For this purpose, a so-called waiver is necessary.
