Vocational Secondary School II

You can register for a BOS 2 until 1 March of each year.

It concludes with an examination (written and oral part).

You can then

• start an apprenticeship or
• study at a college / university:
  • with general university entrance qualification: all degree programmes
  • with subject-specific higher education entrance qualification: subject-related courses of study.                                                                

The vocational school responsible for you can be found on the Bildungsserver Rheinland-Pfalz.

Alternatively, the Employment Agency can also show you further possibilities for your professional career.

Prerequisite for admission to BOS 2 is:

• the Fachhochschulreife and either
• at least two years of completed vocational training, or
• a degree recognised as equivalent.

There may be no more than one unsuccessful other examination for the acquisition of the subject-specific or the general higher education entrance qualification.

For admission to the Berufsoberschule II (BOS 2), proof of

• the Fachhochulreife and either
• at least two years of completed vocational training, or
• a qualification recognised as equivalent

Submit.

A certified copy of the current half-year certificate or the last acquired degree certificate is required for registration.

Registration forms can be obtained from the vocational school responsible for you (school secretariat) or as a download link on the homepage of this vocational school.

There are no school fees to pay.

If certain conditions are met, BAföG can be applied for.

Registration must be made by 1 March of each year.
