When submitting the application, you provide evidence of the necessary prerequisites for teaching the required knowledge and skills, for example:

• You have sufficient teaching staff in relation to the trainees.
• Your teaching staff is appropriately qualified.
• You have suitable classrooms.
• You provide sufficient teaching materials to carry out the lessons.
• You provide evidence of your personal reliability and that of your representatives.

You must submit the following documents in any case. Ask the competent authority whether further documents are required.

• Application for recognition as a training center
• Training program with the following content:
  • the subject areas taught on the basis of the areas of knowledge listed in Annex 1 of the Ordinance on the Implementation of the Professional Driver Qualification Act (BKrFQV)
  • the planned implementation of the lessons
  • the teaching methods
• evidence of the number, qualifications and areas of activity of the instructors
• evidence of the didactic and pedagogical knowledge of the trainers
• Information on the classrooms
• maximum number of participants planned for the respective classroom
• Information on the teaching materials
• Information on the teaching materials provided for practical training
• Information on the training vehicles used
• Proof of qualification for the instructors in the practical part, for example
  • Professional driver
  • Specialist in driving operations
  • Master of road transport
  • Master craftsman or master craftswoman for road traffic
  • Relevant experience, for example as a driving instructor for trucks or buses
